The TMHD is responsible for the core functions of a local health department, including Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Enforce the Public Health Code, Environmental Health Inspections of Septic Systems, Health Education, Emergency Preparedness for the towns of Trumbull and Monroe Connecticut.
The Board of Directors meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the TMHD office at 2 Corporate Drive in Trumbull. Meetings are open to the public.
