The TMHD is responsible for the core functions of a local health department, including Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Enforce the Public Health Code, Environmental Health Inspections of Septic Systems, Health Education, Emergency Preparedness for the towns of Trumbull and Monroe Connecticut.

TMHD Flu Clinics

The Trumbull Monroe Health District will be holding several flu clinics this fall for seasonal flu vaccinations. TMHD has injectable vaccine for those 6 months and older who wish to be vaccinated. Also, TMHD clinics have Flumist available for those 2 years of age to 49 years of age. Cost for flu vaccinations is $25.00. TMHD accepts Anthem/Anthem Medicare and ConnectiCare/ConnectiCare Medicare.
